Strawberries!

Thanks to a mild winter and warm spring, we were treated to an early strawberry crop this year - yum!

 

Farewell Zoo Trip

Our good friends, the Sierras, are moving to Boston in a week. We're doing our best to help them gorge on NC goodness before they leave, which included a trip to the zoo followed by lots of barbecue.

Easter at Emerald Isle

We skipped off to Emerald Isle for Easter this year, and took Grandma, Grandpa and the Lee-Deatons with us. Despite a rainy start to the trip, we had a great time at the beach . . . and the Easter bunny managed to find us on Sunday morning.

The boys were invited to a pre-Easter egg hunt with their buddies . . .  it was a chance to flex their muscles before the real deal.
