Adventures in Wilmington

I had a conference in Wilmington for a few days, which meant Owen needed to tag along for mama's milk. So we twisted Omi's arm to come along and hang out with the boys while I was in meetings. I'm pretty sure they had more fun than I did!

State Fair

Nothing says fall like the state fair. And this year we were lucky to have our friends Dave and Marybeth visit so we could take them on a tour of our NC's agricultural and food frying prowess.

Which pumpkin is cuter?

Vegas Baby!

It's the year of the O! Our niece, Olivia, was born in July and we finally made our westward to visit the little miss.

Punkin Patch

This year's pumpkin patch trip was a little surreal. It was about 85 degrees, decidedly not autumnal, but we did take a hayride and found a lovely pumpkin.

We Heart Midwives

We were so excited to support North Carolina Friends of Midwives at their recent fund raising walk. It was a beautiful fall day and we got a chance to catch up with our midwives and birth assistant. Owen was all smiles when he saw them, which was completely adorable.

Nuptial Redux

It's been a few weeks since my sister got married . . . the wedding was lovely and Charlie did a great job as ring bearer. He did a little dancing around and pillow twirling during the ceremony, and when it was time to recess, he took off like a shot down the side aisle.

Off to the rehearsal dinner, and looking dapper with Opu
