Almost as long as the tub . . . hard to believe!

We went to another birth class birthday celebration, this one for Webb. His folks did a Kindermusik party, so there were lots of fun instruments to play with. Charlie's favorite thing was definitely the parachute.
Webb's cake had fondant jungle animals all around it. Charlie wasn't too interested in the cake, but loved this fondant monkey!
The next weekend, we headed back to Topsail Beach to see Great-grandma & grandpa Miracle, Great-aunt Sue and uncle Greg. We had a short stay, but it was nice to catch up with them and play in the ocean.
Charlie had a great time playing the drums on Grandpa's belly. Afterwards, he lifted up Grandpa's shirt, looked at this belly, and said, "It's too big!"
Rinsing off outside with Daddy
We've been meaning to check out the Museum of Life & Science in Durham, and finally got around to it a few weeks ago. They have a lot of animal exhibits outdoors, along with a Butterfly House and insectarium. The kids had a great time running around outside, and had a blast riding the train, too. Sadly, it was so hot that most of the big cats were hiding out inside, so we'll have to head back once the weather cools off.
Poisonous tree frogs!
Water works
Posing for the paparazzi
And now shunning them
Charlie's favorite movie is "Singing in the Rain," and he loves dancing around and singing along to the songs. It's completely adorable, and makes me sad to think that in a few years he'll think this is lame.
